What is your current position at your brewery, and how did you get started in the craft brewing industry?

Founder Brewer started in 2010 and got certified in 2011 and went commercial 2015. Love of beer and lack of variety of styles available in SA

What’s new at your brewery?

SA’s first CBD beer – Cannabis Lager (Cann-O-Bliss), our Pangolin Wit community upliftment and wildlife protection project, CANNING, WHAOW! Imperial Stout, Eco-friendly packaging (no plastic), Looking for like-minded investors to fund future growth and expansion in distribution. We also bringing back a crowd favourite ALOHA Pina Colada IPA for the Summer!

What’s the best part of being a part of the South African craft brewing community?

The world of possibility in beer styles and flavours, the camaraderie, the thrill of a different day unfolding out ahead of you every single day.

Name your favourite food and beer pairing.

Love a good pot of mussels with a fun Gose or Strong Belgian Ale

What’s your biggest accomplishment unrelated to your job?

Travelled to all 7 continents in 6 months and tasted beers in all 7 (including Antarctica)

What’s your favourite beer from another brewery?

Little Wolf Hoppy Wheat (although now we actually make it) …so I’d have to say anything from Aegir Project

What do you like to do in your time away from the brewery?

I dont understand the question….oh you mean going to beer events with my family!? Seriously though, I’d love to get my golf swing going again. It’s been 5 years of 24, 7, 365 and its time to hit the course again!

What’s the most memorable travel destination at which you’ve had a chance to sample the local beer?

So many, but if I had to choose one from recent times it would be visiting Asheville and Mills River in North Carolina but a very special memory is also sampling Belgian beers in Antwerp
