What is your current position at your brewery, and how did you get started in the craft brewing industry?
Brewer and owner, I started homebrewing and have just finished filming a documentary on the local craft beer industry.

The culture amongst other brewers and the ever improving standard of the quality in beer.

What’s your biggest accomplishment unrelated to your job?
Being nominated the Sharks fan of the year in 2007 in the super rugby final and having Kobus Wiese hand me a cheque on the field at Kings Park.
What’s your favourite beer from another brewery?
Local – Killer Hop by Mad Giant.
International – Gamma Ray by Beavertown Brewery
What do you like to do in your time away from the brewery?
Everything, rugby, braai and be at the beach without a cellphone (all three together is a hoppy dream of mine)
What’s the most memorable travel destination at which you’ve had a chance to sample the local beer?
Prague, Czech Republic.
